I went to the gas station two weeks ago and I was the only person grinning. Everyone else was complaining about the price of fuel. A lady asked me "Why are you smiling? You just spent $105 on a tank of petrol !!". I told her that I had earnt enough money trading unleaded gas the night before to drive my car FREE till I was too old to drive.....and I'm only 29!!!

Good points re losses Rob. I keep reminding myself
THEY ARE NOT LOSSES JUST A COST IN FINDING OUT WHAT THE MARKET IS DOING.
My own spread sheet shows many more “cost” trades than winners but thanks to that green line the total of the winners is much much higher than the losses of the “costs”
Total upside since Jan $28K against a $25K initial investment. I’m Happy. And remember I consider myself a Very Conservative trader often entering trades a day or two after the trigger when I feel confident of the trend and some times exiting before the cross. This has certainly reduced my profits in many cases but Hey they are profits.

Traded my first 2 futures today Lumber and Coffee... profit $1250 on coffee and lost about $500 on Lumber as the market gapped up at the opening to 365, so I placed a limit order an entered a 360 but it fell back to 355. Not a bad net for the first day... it was fun! You have always been open and honest. Integrity in the stock business is harder to find these days.

Doing very well this month. What is really helping, I went into E-mini on 6/29 and up $19,000. Overall I'm up about $22,000 for July. I did not trade from 7/1 to 7/5 since out of town. I also downloaded your accounting program and I like it very well. Keeps you on the ball allowing me to watch where the commodity is going on a day to day basis.

Hi Rob,
I calculated your average return on margin employed in your Trend Genie trades for the past year, not including the open trades for July/04.
The figure is 436.46%. If the trades from July closed where they are now, it would drive this figure higher. In addition, the Genie seems to work best with Grains, Meats and Metals.
Nice return for a model that requires so little time.
Just thought you would like to know that figure. It is always an important one for me.

Great day today! $4018 paper profits today alone. I can see where keeping an objective cool head about this will be difficult. And I only spend about 10 seconds looking at the charts to decide. Somehow I think I should take longer but must learn to work the program and not make more of it than I should.

I have all three of the Wizetrade programs. Yours is the first one that I have really gotten this excited about. Simple, straight forward and easy to follow. I have started looking at the spreadsheets in depth as you mentioned and find them extremely helpful.

As you know I have never traded at all before and thought you might like to know that by following the Green line since Dec 15th my profits are $11,800.
I have traded fairly conservatively and entered some trades late and exited others early. (Cant go broke making a profit!) The System works great. Thanks heaps.

Gotta tell you that your program is really something. Even got my wife doing the daily paper trade. She's never, ever been interested in this sort of thing before, but the simplicity of it got her hooked too. Now the telling factor will be to see if she stays interested once we begin to trade with REAL money. I'll keep you posted.
